The maximum temperature recorded today (7th June) in Albert Road, Ledbury by Norman Selkirk (Ledbury's weather man) was 14.6°C. 19mm of rain fell (that's 3/4" in old money). According to stuff.co.nz, a New Zealand news website, the maximum temperature in Auckland was 16.9°C yesterday (it's 'tomorrow' there as I write...), sunny with showers.
Conversely, Mr. Selkirk reports that while he was on holiday in Sicily about a fortnight ago, the temperature there was lower than it was in Ledbury at the same time!
There doesn't seem to be much hope for warmer weather in the immediate future, but we might see that yellow thing in the sky for a bit on Saturday.

Coincidentally I was on holiday in Sicily recently, the last week of April, but, unlike Mr Selkirk, we got our timing right: the weather everyday for 10 days or so was sunny, warm/hot, approximately 20-30°C, with night-time temperatures complementary. The only time it was cooler was in the afternoon on our last day when a few spots of rain also fell, presumably in readiness to greet Mr Selkirk!
