From West Mercia Police's website:

'A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life following an incident in Ledbury.

Police received a report at 21:02 last Monday (29th May) from a man who said he had been threatened with a firearm at a property near The Homend.

Firearms officers were deployed to the area and made the arrest.

It is believed the alleged victim and suspect were known to each other.

If anyone has any information that could help police with their investigation they can call 101 and quote incident 760s of 29 May 2017.  Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org '

A helicopter made a very obvious presence as it hovered over the town for some two hours.  By 22:45, it was hovering over Ledbury Park.  Eye witnesses reported police activity near the railway bridge.  Just before midnight two police cars were seen outside the Ledbury Hand Car Wash premises just north of the railway bridge.  The gate was open.

It might be coincidence, but the same premises were raided by police and immigration officers in July 2016, when two workers were arrested for entering the UK illegally.
