Most residents of Ledbury will have received a poll card for a 'Referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan for Ledbury'.

Polling will be on 6th December, with one question:
Do you want Herefordshire Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Ledbury to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
(More here.)

The most important document on the council's referendum page is the Ledbury Neighbourhood Development Plan 2018-2031 (NDP) dated October 2018.  Printed copies of this are available in the library (in the Master's House, St. Katherine's) and Ledbury Town Council offices.  Housing policy starts on page 22.

Update 23rd November: The Town Council has published a poster on the front page of its website, notifying its offices will additionally be open between 10:00 and 13:00 on Saturday 1st December for inspection of the NDP.  A cleaned up version of its not-so-good JPEG image appears to the left of this text - please click on it to be taken to the correct page of its website.

The likes of Gladman are preying on Ledbury's lack of any endorsed Neighbourhood plan - it was deemed by a higher authority that there had not been sufficient public consultation, rendering it invalid.  The referendum seeks to address this issue.
