in The Market Theatre The Pantaloons Othello |
 |
What did thy song bode, lady? Hark, canst thou hear me? I will play the swan, And die in music...
Ledbury regulars, the critically-acclaimed Pantaloons, relocate Shakespeare’s classic tragedy of jealousy and deception to a jazz-age setting, with live music, intense drama, and more than a hint of their own inimitable brand of theatrical mischief.
It’s stormy outside. In here, tensions are simmering. As a touring swing band gather for their next performance, malevolent trickster Iago begins to sow the seeds of mistrust.
Tickets: £14 (£8 Students) may be booked here
And for the kids...
Saturday 16th November at 2:30pm
in The Market Theatre The Rotsome Words of Roald Dahl |
 |
Following a successful performance at the Edinburgh International Book Festival: calling all human beans!
Get ready to be goose-gruggled and fluckgungled with word wizards Sara-Jane Arbury and Katie Balson as they take a light-hearted look at some of the naughtiest words and phrases created by the infamously inventive children's author, Roald Dahl. Discover the most mischievously rude words in his whizzpopping world and uncover some frobscottling facts. You'll learn how to curse like a Giant and insult like a Trunchbull in an anarchic hour of foulsome fun! Expect wacky word games, explosive expletives, bellowing matches and plenty of poppyrot!
Suitable for 6yrs+
And Ledbury Books and Maps will be selling books after the show!
Tickets: £6 (adult or child) or £20 for a family of 4 may be booked here
