Distraction Politics

"Here is the news..." or should we say here is politics as entertainment. PM's Question Time, BBC's Question Time, T.V. debates between marginal party leaders, endless dumbdown 5Live chat, tabloid sensationalism, public house brouhaha...
And what's it all about? The bickering of three political parties who are all trying to sit in the same right-of-centre political space.
It's not only tedious entertainment, but a distraction from the real decision making that these career politicians steer away from - crucial decisions on industry, employment, house building, energy production, transport, food supply, the environment...
Instead their news is a blur, an establishment distraction, squid ink in your face as the elite race away with all your money.
