Carbon Sun Block - Yours for 200 Euros

The Polytricksters of the EU (Brown, Reinfeldt, Merkel et al) are currently haggling over the 100 billion euro annual EU bill to 'tackle' climate change (or they're flying around Europe in private planes having state banquets and drinking too much bubbly).

With a euro population of about 500,000,000 thats works out at about 200 euros  a year each we have to pay as individuals to 'tackle' climate change. So that's not including business, big business, bigger business, industry, uber Tescos and the super-rich, you know, the fat cat bankers, premier league footballers in sportscars, TV celebrities being ferried to random exotic locations, and dodgy Arab shiekhs doing illegal arms deals in European air space as they as good as live in the air in their private jets (courtesy of British Industry).

Still, 200 euros a year doesn't sound that daunting to fix this global warming problem. I'd pay it today. The only problem I've got with it is I don't understand what they mean by 'tackle' the problem. I haven't heard any plans from any government in the EU or the EU itself on how they are going to stop global warming.

Nada, zilch, rien, zero. Polytricksters open their mouths and big fat nothings pop out.

The global experiment over the last 150 or so years of releasing carbon deposits that have been built up and locked up over a time span of hundreds of millions of years has not been addressed. They talk about releasing a bit less CO2, reducing emissions etc, but all this is doing is still adding to the problem we already have. It doesn't solve anything. What is this 'tackle'?

Have they got some big secret Sun Block idea to cool the planet?

When each one of us is spending £42 a year on the War in Afghanistan, at least we know the value of what we are getting for our money......

If we have to pay 200 Euros a year each to 'tackle' climate change could someone at least tell exactly us what it is we are buying?
