Council not up to speed

Herefordshire Council is now boasting about Rotherwas business park getting high speed broadband - but what about the rest of the county?

Why doesn't Herefordshire Council support all local Herefordshire businesses and Internet users and get high speed broadband installed throughout the county? Money is surely not a barrier as there are millions of pounds of development money on offer in the EU coffers annually for this type of develpoment that is not picked up by organisations such as Herefordshire Council.

Herefordshire Council's inability to provide the necessary infrastructure for our economy to compete nationally and internationally is an indictment to their perverse values. Why does Herefordshire Council prefer to attempt to destroy local businesses like the Ledbury Portal and Beaconhill Ice Cream (while ironically claiming in its propaganda that it supports local businesses) than support them with the necessary infrastructure.

Who is responsible for this level of infrastructure if not local government?

Rotherwas shows it can be done. The rest of the County shows that it just ain't being done.
