Hello everyone!

I am a Danish woman, 32 yrs, planning to move to your area within a years time or there abouts to start education at University - a bit late, I know, but better late than never, eh? I have a few friends down around Gloucester, but would like to get to know a few more people, maybe someone who can tell me things about the area that I cannot read on the internet, or answer a few questions now and then. And then it is always nice to get to know new folks.

I am looking at your area because I am not a big-city person, I like to be in sensible range of towns and cities, but not in the middle of them, and this area was suggested to me.

I am interested in nature, art, singing, people, and a whole bunch of other things, inluding online gaming. I am friendly, but also sometimes a bit outspoken for some, I guess - I think Danes generally are a bit more straightforward perhaps? I have a sense of humour and can laugh at myself too. I would very much like to know more about the UK and your specific area - I am curious and would love to learn more of the language and culture of the country I would like to one day call my own.

If you want to help me figure out if this could be a good place for me, or if eventually everything works out maybe one day drink a cuppa somewhere or go for a walk around town telling me where to find things, don't hesitate to contact me for some e-mails back and forth - nothing is supposed to be more binding for you, or me, than we feel the need for at any given time but I would much appreciate the input and contact to you locals.

Thanks in advance.
