Remember, remember November 5th,
Bombs fill  the sky and rockets rip,
Explosions cascade at the blink of an eye,
Theres a fire over there watch the flames lick high.

Children circle with sparklers in hand,
Colours momentarily light the land,
Flashes and sparks crack the night sky,
Neon flowers hang so high.

Cheers from the crowd slowly fade,
Little children are no longer afraid,
Fireworks fizzle and the fire burns low,
Kick off the mud now its time to go.
