Earlier this year, Prime Minister Brown pledged to help the private sector to improve Britain's broadband network to ensure the country's future prosperity. However, in his "Digital Britain" white paper, Lord Carter admitted that large chunks of rural Britain may be denied high-speed broadband where there is (supposedly) no economic case for doing so. These excellent videos show how Information Technology is becoming vital in rural areas and should be considered essential viewing for the Prime Minister and Lord Carter.
