A.E. Housman (1859-1936), born in Worcestershire, is most well known for his cycle of poems A Shropshire Lad. His poems (mostly pre -1900) are described in Wikipedia as a 'wistful evocation of doomed youth in the English countryside.'
This is the first of a series of poems from Poetry Animations that will be published on the Ledbury Community Portal over the festive period.
