Morris dancing in Malvern a couple of weeks ago posted by thelofthouseadvisory.

Morris Dancing in England dates back to the late C15th and may have its origins in the Moresca celebration in Spain of around 1492 when the Moors were expelled from the country.

Boxing Day has a significance in the history of morris dancing as boxing day in 1899 is claimed to be the beginning of the modern revival as Cecil sharp and others began to record and revive a tradition that had begun to disappear in England.
