Friday night Saturday morning in Ledbury - a busy night for the emergency services. This car fire in Bye Street car park at 2 in the morning followed a bank's smashed window at midnight which became the focus of much police attention.

Half past one saw the usual raucous weekend crowd of drunk revellers leave the Horseshoe pub to enter the streets of Ledbury....

West Mercia police was asked about these weekend incidents, but it has failed to give any response.
It is worth noting that such violent and anti-social incidents are not being reported in the local press.
For real news talk to the man in the street, the fat lady down the pub or the grouch in the cafe.
It is bizarre that gossip, tittle-tattle and twitter have more newsworthiness than today's local press.

Word on the street has it that the chap whose car this was is the same chap who was later found banging his head against Country Casuals shop window - and breaking the window. Apparently this chap was arrested by the police.
Could he be one of the Horseshoe drunks?
