After yesterday's media exposure of the woman who dumped a cat in a wheelie bin, the Ledbury Portal can reveal a spate of copycat animal binnings.

The animal welfare group T.I.G.G.E.R. was contacted about this animal cruelty and were keen to see the Ledbury Portal footage. According to the group's spokesperson, Kat Binner, some animals may not deserve state protection: "Some animals are actually harmful to the environment and their numbers need controlling. Bears, for example, are well known for their attacks on bee hives to steal their honey - and we all know how decimated honeybee populations are at the moment. Tigers are known man eaters and have also been known to eat women and children. As for rabbits, well, very large rabbits have been known to damage cars if you run over them..."

The animal dumping culprits have yet to be identified, although one of them does look very familar.
