Finger in the Pie Theatre Company from London presents Sweeney Todd
We welcome you to Newgate Prison to witness the terrible tale of Sweeney Todd, before we hang him before your very eyes! Recasting Sweeney Todd as a clown in the tradition of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, Sweeney Todd is an hilarious black comedy - combining slap stick humour, grotesque characters, physical storytelling and live cabaret music. Working with an international team of performers and puppeteers, Finger in the Pie Theatre Company have devised a brand new version of the classic Sweeney Todd myth, combining aesthetic of the grotesque with physical acting and storytelling, puppetry and live music to bring to life the seething underworld of 18th Century London. Age range: 12+
Tickets £10 (£4 students) from Ledbury TIC.
