Not according to the Met Office!
According to them (and to most bookies), snow must fall within the 24-hour period 00:00 and 23:59 on 25th December. Technically, a bookie would have to pay out if one soggy flake fell amongst rain on an otherwise 'green' Christmas day, but would keep your bet on yesterday's beautiful (never mind the cold) weather!
The US definition is a bit more sensible - one inch or more of falling or fallen snow on Christmas morning would count.
By the way, for those of you who did get out despite over-indulgence in meleagris galloparvo domesticus, the snow was just as pristine as it was when it fell 5 days earlier....
