Councilors will get a dose of déjà vu next Thursday as Ledbury Town Council discusses the reasons why they voted the way they did last Thursday.
This bizarre set of circumstances comes about after some councilors have realised that they failed to give a reason for turning down the Tesco planning application.
In an attempt to reverse this the council has been called together again for another Full Council meeting.
As chair of the last meeting the Mayor, councilor Conway, was responsible for ensuring that procedure was correctly followed. It is not known at present who has called this special meeting.
The Ledbury Portal has already written to the council asking why councilors voted the way they did, but it has not received a single reply. One councilor has told the Ledbury Portal that the question has not yet been passed on to him.

Why don't they know why they voted the way they did?
This is ridiculous, upside down democracy.
Councillors claiming they only had 20 minutes to debate the Tesco Planning Application and its consequences for Ledbury?
What is going on here? A few days ago Councillor Peter Watts was saying it's going to be Tesco or Sainsbury and we had better plan for that - WHAT????? Now I hear he's off the committee - WHAT????
What exactly is going on here?????
Where exactly have they been for the last six months or so??
Whilst the debate rages in the street these people appear to be totally blissed out in ignorance.
Of course it could just be down to some administrative error. Or maybe somebody is playing fast and loose with the people who voted these poor wretches in!!
My message to the Council is - get your act together or get out - there are plenty of people who care more for Ledbury than you appear to be doing!!!!
