The Advertising Standards Authority is investigating Tesco regarding its 'price promise' to consumers. The investigation follows a complaint by rival supermarket Morrisons, which has accused Tesco of misleading its shoppers.

Despite recently paying for full page ads in leading newspapers during the ongoing horse meat scandal, Tesco's market share has dropped to below 30%.

Calculating Tesco Prices

I see the Ledbury Reporter (15.01.14) has reported on the error made by a Worcester Tesco supermarket regarding its weight and prices.
But honestly, is it any wonder that Tesco staff get basic mathematics wrong. If I was not getting paid a living wage, I don't think I would give 100% to my job. Why should I?
If I couldn't live on the wage I'm paid for the job I'm doing, why should the job expect to get the most out of me.
