For once it was a summer solstice - but unfortunately not a very good sunrise from Midsummer Hill.
It was unusually warm so I was able to ride there in shorts!  (On previous occasions, full winter regalia was required until after the sun had risen for a few hours).

The waning moon was beautiful as it rose over Eastnor:

The sunrise was hidden by clag over Worcester, but it did appear briefly at about 05:00:

Then the mist descended and it got quite a bit colder:

Mist coming at us from the Worcester Beacon

Time to get out and go home

I have seen better - in 2010 and 2014.

Despite the mist, it was nothing like 2012!
