Herefordshire Council announced yesterday that it has received notice that Bovis has withdrawn its appeal against that council's refusal of planning permission for 185 homes south of Ledbury bypass.  The site is east of the 'Gladman' site that is currently being 'developed', between there and the Gloucester Road.

The appeal was launched on 4th May and notice of withdrawal was sent to the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol on 3rd July by email from Bovis's Birmingham-based agent, Turley.  The full text of this email is available here.

One wonders if Bovis now intends to repackage its application for a new submission in the August 'silly season', when they hope nobody will notice.....
