Found this morning above the spring between the top of Evendine Lane and Jubilee Drive.  However, if as they suggest, water is boiled, it should still be fine for a cup of tea.  Good though that the council does check these springs: this one usually has a clean bill of health - and this is the first problem I'm aware of since starting to use it over 30 years ago.  The low flow resulting from the drought is probably the cause.

Since the drought started, flow has become slower and slower.  However, it has never stopped altogether within living memory, but while Schweppes was operating in Colwall, flow often reduced to a trickle much slower than was seen today.
