Klein Klub

Nestled high in the Malvern Hills, with a splendid view of the Severn Valley, stands the brand new Klein Klub bar complex, thanks to an anonymous donation from a generous lottery winner.

With an impressive range of real ales, live music, good conversation and smoking permitted throughout, the 200ft high aluminium and perspex Klein Klub is considered to be the ultimate smokers’; paradise.

"The Klein Klub was modelled on the Klein Bottle, a topological curiosity", explained the developer. "Having only one surface, the inside is indistinguishable from the outside.  Everything inside is also outside and everything outside is also inside, rather like a three-dimensional Möbius Strip.  To ban smoking in the Klein Klub, the Government would have to ban smoking in the entire Universe - and I don’t believe their jurisdiction extends that far", he added wryly.

Or was it just a dream?
