I hope you're enjoying the Ledbury Portal! I'm Tess Barnes and I originally got involved in the Portal as a way of getting some of my poems and articles published locally. I didn't envisage being pulled in to design the website but sometimes you have to give to get.

Now the site is up an running I hope to bring you a flavour of the natural world in Ledbury with occasional articles and some of the photographs I've been taking in all seasons and weathers along the Ledbury Trail. Yes, I am the strange young lass wandering along with the camera on the first of every month! As well as highlighting the beauty of Ledbury, the photos are part of a climate change study run by the Woodland Trust; I'm one of their volunteers. The study provides a lot of the information behind such programs as Autumn Watch so it makes good TV too.

Of course, if there are any problems with the portal or suggestions you want to make I'll be helping to fix things and sort out improvements, just post a suggestion to the forum or use the Portal contact page to get in touch. Remember it's your portal – you make it happen.
