And Another Thing... An evening of Fun, Laughter and Song with Mervyn Stutter |
|
Legend of The Edinburgh Fringe, Mervyn Stutter is a satirical songwriter, comedian and founder member of the Flying Pickets. He has written topical songs for many TV and radio series, including Open Air (TV’s first ever UK Daytime show), Carrot Confidential, Stop the Week, It’s Been a Bad Week (Punt and Dennis), After Midnight and Hayes on Sunday.
He is an accomplished singer and guitarist: his live solo shows are irreverent, funny, affectionate, clever but clean, with lots of clever comedy songs - poking fun both at his own life as well as the world around him.
The comedy voice of the Baby Boom Generation - Daily Telegraph Celebrating the trivial and attacking the absurd he gives us a seriously funny show - The Scotsman All of his songs are astute, funny, often gentle but always jam-packed with clever lyrics - Radio Times For comedy straight from the heart they don’t come much better than Mervyn - Edinburgh Post
