The renovation of the Bromsberrow War Memorial is nearing completion: and, in time for this week’s Remembrance ceremonies, the names of the men of the village who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country in two World Wars have been re-carved and highlighted in black so that they can be clearly read once again.
The Memorial was originally unveiled on 1st May 1921: and, therefore, it is particularly appropriate that 90 years on at a time when our country is again at war the Parish Council with the financial support of the Albright Trust should have arranged for this beautiful renovation to be undertaken. The Council is now in contact with the British Legion to agree a date for the re-dedication of the Memorial
