From Redmarley rhubard to White Leaf Oak faeries: The English Festival has morphed into the Ledbury Spring Festival; the celebration of St. George replaced by devotion to Dionysus and Silenus; line dancers lost to bellowing town criers and punk pub buskers, while the 'inner sanctum' indulged itself in the practice of limited exclusivity.
