Herefordshire Council will tell Ledbury Town Council that it is making it's own Impact Assessment Study regarding Tesco grocer's planning application.

The news is likely to make Ledbury Town Council determine that the £15,000 cost of making its own independent Impact Assessment Study could be better spent on other local projects.

This does not make good reading. There is no guarantee that Herefordshire CC will consider the needs of local people in Ledbury. There is already sufficient information out there to suggest the Coun ty Council will 'look after itself'

With the addition of Sainsbury's bid in the offing it looks like the good folk of Ledbury will have a real fight on their hands
